About the Entertainers
It all started when young Joshua, at age 5, used sticks in the back yard to help him imagine he was playing the violin. Not long after, he insisted that his mother, Sherri, find a violin teacher by handing her the phone and sitting down on the couch to wait for her to call one. She did, and thus began the blessed journey that pulled the rest of his brothers and sisters into the musical world in which they now live which includes 42 lessons per week among 7 children, practice for 2 hours a day individually and 1 to 6 hours a day as a group. The children's current ages are Joshua 15, Jossalyn 14, Ty 12, Kenna 11, Tennyson 9, Caleb 5, and Kassandra who is 4 years old and has just learned her first song on the Viola . Sherri, who is a masterful keyboardist, once hoped she would be blessed with pianists like herself, but not long after Joshua started violin lessons the rest took up various string instruments and the rest is history.
Let The Sizzling Strings take you back to "the good 0l' times" while brightening your outlook on the future.
