
Molly's Revenge
Molly's Revenge specializes in the traditional music of Ireland, Scotland and England, with occasional side trips to other parts of Europe, plus some of their own compositions.At a Molly's Revenge performance you will be treated to upbeat, lively renditions of traditional Celtic music and song. The band is well known for its high-energy performances, and their piper regularly intermingles with the audience in the middle of tune sets.
The band members David Brewer, John Weed, Pete Haworth, and Stuart Mason play an assortment of instruments, including guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, Scottish Highland bagpipes, small pipes, border pipes, uilleann pipes, whistles, fiddle, and bodhran, with some great songs thrown in for good measure.
Molly's Revenge are regular performers at Highland Games and Celtic Festivals on the West Coast of the USA, including the Caledonian Club of San Francisco Highland Games, the Sacramento Highland Games, the Hawaii Scottish Festival, the Pacific Northwest Highland Games, the Calaveras Celtic Festival, the Sonora Celtic Festival, and the Sebastopol Celtic Festival. In May 2004, they performed at an International Music Carnival in Shanghai, China and they were invited back again in May 2005.They have appeared with such world-renowned CELTIC bands as Danu, Dervish, Old Blind Dogs, Teada, Wolfstone, and Tannahill Weavers.
The band has released four CDs: the Siege Of Delhi (March 2001), Revenge Is Sweet (December 2001), Live At The Espresso Garden (August 2003), and Four (September 2004).
